I just don't understand MegaTokyo at all.

I'm sorry, but I just don't.

I've been reading it for the last two hours (due to all the chatter distractions) and I just can't follow it. I can't tell who any of the female characters are, and I can't follow the story (if there is one) at all.

Can someone explain things to me?

I just find MegaTokyo boring, I don't see how its bigger than Real Life or Penny Arcade.

He also skips between story lines and, like the last one, is something completely different and doesn't have anything to do with the "MegaTokyo" storyline. It's from a separate comic he's writing. He injects them when he needs a break from the main plotline.

I'm just bumping this old thread of mine, for three reasons:

1) To show that I was right

2) Because it's my thread, so I can

3) Because I've read every MegaTokyo, from the beginning, and I still don't get it.

I mean, I understand the anime style and all - I've read some, and I've had friends who were way into it. I just can't follow what the whole idea is behind this and what it's supposed to be leading up to.

Oh, well... There's room for all tastes. No biggie.

I don't read anything but Real Life, Ctrl+Alt+Del and Angst Tech.

Never understood MegaTokyo or Penny Arcade. I only like 4 panel comics. Anything less is too short for me.
