Not sure if any of you have seen this movie but it is incredible. It is going to be released in theaters here soon but it has already been out for a year in China. It takes place back in the Qin Dynasty. It is incredible!! Jet Li is amazing in it and the fight scenes are wicked! I own it on DVD but will go see it in the theater for sure. Large screen...oh yeah. It is by director Zhang Yimou (pronounced Jan Yi Mo). Go see it if youl liked Crouching Tiger cause this is every bit as good. The cinematography is beautiful.

Odd how Tarantino is representing it? Maybe he finally put the push through to get it in the theaters. He is a huge classic martial arts movie fan...like myself. So good!!!!:thumb

I"ve seen the trailor, and I've had a few friends who have seen it. The ending is spoiled in the trailor.

Wonderful movie. Stills from it were displayed in a London art gallery.
The colour themes for each story, or rather each version of the story, were really beautiful. And Maggie Cheung and Zhang Ziyi...

I can't wait to see House of Flying Daggers (also with Zhang Ziyi MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!)

I hope that this movie will be better than Crouching Tiger. Don't get me wrong. I liked the movie, but I just thought that the fight scenes were to unbelievable and that took away from the storyline.
