Funny you should ask this question...

I watched the PBS series a few weeks ago, "Colonial House"..and was thinking, "What would I miss the most?"

Besides toliet paper, lip balm, hand lotion and sun glasses..oh and my daily dose of "For Better or For Worse" comic strip...and electricy. Need that power!

I would miss communication.

Hence my choice of a cell phone. Amazing how far we have come in communication since 1628. If someone died in England and you were on a colony in the New World..you would not hear about it for about 4 months.

I gotta stay connected to the outside world...

Forgot about such basic things such as toilet paper, so I will vote that as one of the most missed things along with running water and sewage systems.
