I remember a dude at the gym yestarday saying that the one of the olsens are being treated for anerexia and eating disorders, something not all uncommon among young female stars now adays. More and more people chicks in hollywood are trying to be as thin as possible for the camera, that is why they are all getting sick like this.

Man, I hope she makes a good recovery as I grew up with the olsen twins on tv. got ta love full house. Good luck to her. :thumb

Anorexia Nervosa is a hard nut to crack as it is a mental disorder. Does anyone remember Karen Carpenter (http://www.hotshotdigital.com/WellAlwaysRemember.2/KarenCarpenter.html). Tons of money but dead at 32 from anorexia nervosa.

I hope she gets well but sadly it is an occupational hazard in that industry.

I watched a documentary last year or two on MSNBC where this woman who went from like 120 pounds. Sexy as all hell. To some calas shell of a human like 70 pounds. Her hair fell out, her skin started to deteriate and get wrinkles, and I think she ended up with a whole in her lung. All from anorexia. I think it is a tragic desieases. I hope that this don't happen to the Olsens, to good of people. :Crying

Exactly, if you put yourself in the position of a big name wig in hw you would probably read the tabloids regularly and be like. Hey, I don't want that to happen to me, so I better not eat anything or something. In short when you gain like a pound the news media gets on ya be like your fat, and ruins your public rep.

What I don't get, don't these girls know what us men consider attractive? I would say we don't like frail skeletons, we like skinny women, but not anorexic ones - you know which looks I'm talking about.

I agree with that all around I like a toned woman who works out. God damn! do we have them where I go to the gym. :cool_shades

I do Ed. Karen Carpenter (with her brother Richard) formed one of the most successful recording duos ever. Yet, almost no one knew that she went on a diet and became an anorexic. She went to a treatment facility, but she went too fast on the treatment. She died of a heart attack... :Crying

Many stars have had anorexia or bullimia. I also recall Tracy Gold (remember Growing Pains with Alan Thicke?). She was diagnosed with anorexia as well.

Anorexia or bullimia is mostly a disease that exists in ones own subconscience. It's just to bad that instead of throwing up and not eating to lose weight, all they really need, is an hour a day in the gym. Your weight then will be under control and, the public nowadays would rather see a fit and well toned body than a skinny one.

I read somewhere, that it isnt an eating disorder she has. She is addicted to cocaine. That might be a rumour, that might be true.

No, that is a rumor. She does have anorexia. I've heard it a lot of times in numerous places.

Poor girl. The show-biz industry has really got to stop the 'thin' trend. It's getting alot of people in trouble. As some other people said, it should be toned, not thin as a f--king skeleton.

I just hear on WQAM that she has a cocaine addiction that they were trying to keep the public from knowing.
