at the beach, looking across the bay, huge red moon riseing...of course dident have the tripod, so had to try to get a few pics by building a make shift one out of beach rocks lol.

I saw a really nice moon yesterday as well.
Wasn't as red as in your picture, but big and orange.
Against a dark blue sky.
Would have made an awesome picture, but my camera was at home.

wow, that's really pretty! I like the black and the red. I thought the rocks were socks. lol, I guess I was close.
I dont think I've really noticed a moon as red as that. Jeff and I saw the most beautiful golden moon rising the other day, it was huuuge!

i should mention that the lights under the moon is actually a community on the other side of the bay and not the moon reflecting in the water...it was a huge moon that looked like it was swallowing the community for the first couple min....it was one of those wierd times when it came up real fast, so by the time i got back to the truck and got a pic smapped, only a couple min later, the whole moon was visable..it was even a darker red a couple min earlier.
