Ju-on "The Grudge" Very Scary!!

I have this on DVD but it's coming to North American theaters after over a year of being out in Asia also along with it's remake...similar to what they did with Ringu (the original was the best IMO). This film kills Ringu in scary creepiness. The Japanese and Korean's know how to make super scary flicks. Like those of the 70's which have all been lost to Hollywood big budget flicks with nothing but computer generated crap that is never scary. This truly is scary. See it!!!

Oh my God, The Ring sucked so bad! I didn't get goosebumps or anything at all when I watched it alone in the dark. But this movie, Ju-on, I watched the trailer at 2 in the afternoon and it scared the crap out of me like the trailer for the game F.E.A.R.. I want this movie. I don't want to wait for it to come to theaters over here. Bobenis, where can I get the DVD, and does it have subtitles or anything so I can understand what going on?

I saw this movie at Fantasia and was not impressed. My gf got freaked out, but I was laughing most of the way through. In fact, most of the theatre was laughing. If you get into the movie, you'll probably find it creepy. I did not, and found it average.

The Japanese version of the Ring or "Ringu" is great. Never saw the remake however.

This movie didn't seem creepy at all, maybe it's because I didn't understand the story at all. Also the fact that I hate it was TRYING too hard to surprise/spook people out of their chairs so much...

speaking of creepy... how about giving me Doom 3! Now that I know for sure will scare me!
