Low payed tech support agent in Wales :(

What do ISP Tech Support Agents get where you are?

In Wales we are looking at around £6.25ph....which sucks!

I was just wondering if this was a low payed job full stop, or is it just us peeps here in Wales that are being taken for a ride! :bomb

I saved in a year - I was working in London so just tightened the belt a bit - if you have a goal it is easier.

I'm 29 now, I was 27 when I came here.

No Qualifications in IT just 8 years experience.

You live near any ISP'S?

Because these places are crying out for ppl all the time, because ppl come get payed low wages and leave once they get the experience!

Its normally done through agencies though, so im sure you could pop in to your local employment agency and ask them!

I am a Tech here in Oz. Spent 5 years in London doing it too.

Sadly 2 of those were of the "Crappy" variety - you have to start at the bottom. I learnt loads there though, learning heaps from the other Techs - they're all good mates as well! - ask me some more questions if you like - I'm off to sleep now but I'll answer from work tomorrow :thumb
