US$?

That's about AU$ 9000 so it would have to be a round the world ticket and top class Holiday :thumb

That lazy-boy chair that has the massage functions and the fridge in the armrest.

Then it would be a new monitor, and a digital camera.

With the rest i would buy something for my granddad.

ch0g0nda no but a car is a good thing but first I need to learn and then there insurance. So I have to think about that. I know I need one sense its a need now a days. :( I mean is that really enough money to get a good car? I know it will be used sense you can't get a new car for $6000.

Good on gas and reliable... Not to mention $6000 is about 3x more than you'd have to pay to get one in good shape.

I'd put it toward tuition this year...and then have to find another 4000 to make it.

Wow. Not bad at all for that car. Thanks for a good tip! I just would hope I could find one around here. To expensive and risky to buy a car without testing it out first.

Do you think it would still be a good idea to get a car even though I have student loans I have to pay off right now as well? Though the monthly payment is around $100 but I could pay more instead to lower interest and pay it off faster instead.

I'd like to design a kitchen for me - the fools who built ours put the sink in the wrong way - an ergonomic nightmare!

I agree...ours has doorways all over the place! :bomb

Plus the sink is in the main walkway thru the kitchen...and we need more storage space...and a new stove.

I don't mind the stove we have now. I would just like a self cleaning one and a gas stove with burners that have more BTU's so it doesn't take me till next year to boil water for pasta. I have found using hot water speeds up the process. I mean, I turn the tap on HOT. Get the water coming out hot..then put that water into the stock pot...and then on the stove. Takes about 10 mins off boiling water...

Plus the burner racks move all the time...grrr....

But with 6 grand I would redo the kitchen!

Really? I prefer the electric hobs to gas. With gas you can boil the krap out of stuff, but (well with this one here) you cant simmer.

Electric hobs are good for simmering.

$6000....hmm.

I'm really content with life (right now there is nothing I want that money can buy :)) I think I'd put it in my college/school fund.

$6000 buys a lot of Top Roman.

Ahhh...the ever popular college student diet.....Top Ramen noodles. Heat and eats!!! :lmao

I remember reading in the newspaper about a year ago when college students leave their dorm rooms for the summer. The college hires a team of workers to clean up. At Illinois State University in Normal IL, they said every dorm room has about 20 packages of Ramen noodles left behind. They said they find enough to fill a semi-truck with them. They used to give them to a food bank but then they actually started to turn away the Ramen noodles.

But I too Maro like too COOK. I am going grocey shopping Friday and need idea's on what to make. Wazman loves my cooking and even said I rival his dad on Spagetti :bounce
