T-Mobile finally gave up and is offering me a free phone due to my Samsung 225M phone getting crappy connections.

I really like what the Samsung E105 can do but (since its a samsung) will I be plagued with crappy connections again? I'm not really worried about cameras since I have an awesome digital camera...but it might be cool to have a picture instead of someones number show up for caller id.

Flip phones are great for the size factor. You can store it just about anywhere. I like that the keypad and screen are protected on the flip models as well.

The Samsung looks nice :Nice . What does it have that you like about it :)?

it basically has everything I have now but it adds a color screen (mine is just backlit blue), can finally use ringtones, just gonna suck buying a new car charger for this phone cause I got the one for my current phone with a discount for about $10 when it was normally $30 and I dont have that job anymore :(

The battery life in these phones is pretty amazing now. Do you need the car charger...is it possible to live with just the charger that comes with the phone and charge it at night before you go to sleep? You could save a few bucks without it, maybe :).

Rodney and I have Motorola T720s. Rod's is on pretty much all the time, and he charges his like once a week.

I'm about the same for charging on mine...may get a bit longer out of it, 'cause I'm not allowed to have the phone turned on in the hospital due to patient equipment and stuff :).

come to think of it I rarely ever use it...the last time I did was when i fergot to hook the phone up in my house to charge it...

I guess I would be fine if I just remembered to charge it

I liked the 66 too, that is until I looked closer at it...the casing reminds me of the old plastic they used back in the 90's...makes it look really cheap.

A friend and I both have the smaller brother to that Samsung and, although I like most Samsung products, this is not one of them. It drops connections all the time, most of the time for no apparant reason.

As for color screen, I've had enough of not being able to read it in sunlight although that might not bother you. As for camera's being on the phone, there are more and more places that will not let you take phones that have camera's on them. I couldn't carry my phone into my fitness center if it had a camera...and if I did, and got caught, I could lose my membership.

That first Motorola flip phone looks nice. It's probably me but all I need the thing to do...and do well...is make phone calls. Everything else is just fluff.

hmmm, My contract ends next month I think, I'll ask them if I have to sign another contract to get this new phone. If I dont I'll take the samsung, cancel my service next month and think about getting a nextel that I KNOW wont have problems anywhere I go. Everyone I know around here has them and rarely lose a bar of signal strength.

Well, I work for Rogers and I have been selling cell phones for half a year now. I have heard nothing but good things about Samsung phones. Also, Nokia makes excellent phones as well. I would choose Samsung E105 or Nokia 6010. I like the Motorola 650 as well, but motorola phones has been plagued with software problems. Especially there Motorola C333.

Do you live in North America or somewhere in Europe, Asia or other over sea areas? And T-Mobile is GSM right? Yeah if so, the V66, won't work too well in your area since that phone operates on 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz networks. In north america it operates on 800MHz and 1900MHz networks. You will not get the best reception with that phone. It would work great in europe though. Anyways, choose a phone that operates on both 800MHz and 1900Mhz networks if you want better reception in north america. The nokia 6010 has both of these frequencies.

Problems like phone lock ups, audio distortions. I actually sold two motorola T720s to a customer and both phones had problems with the sound so I had to give two new ones to them.

The most likely the problem is that they are producing their products way too fast. Like they don't spend enough time testing them. We had like 4 new motorola phones came in withing the same month. Nokias are not like that. We have like one Nokia every 2 month.

then I'll get the samsung...the nokia just doesnt look right to me, dont really like the wierd design of the keypad...but I went for looks with my current phone and ended up with a big grey area...hopefully a new phone helps.

I've been wanting that Samsung phone for a few months, but i'm not gonna spend the cash on another new phone for at least a year. But, my g/f is gonna upgrade to it very soon. It's a killer phone, that's for sure!

went by to take a look at the samsung and c650...didnt have the motorola but they did have the e105 just in cheap display plastic form...you think at a corporate store (not like a circuit city or best buy...the place with the big tmobile sign...would have actual working units, no this place did not :| and heres the funny part...there was only one worker there today and he seemed to hate the idea being alone since he treated me like crap when I asked him simple questions. :grumble

anyways I still dont know if I like it but I'm now forced to get the samsung whether I like it or not...its the only one they had in stock so now I have to talk to the lady that set this up on the phone to call the store to let them know that its free of charge...is free stuff always this difficult??? :shifty
