OMFG that is hillarious. Reminds me of that guy on Vortex that painted his brake pads and rotor red.

Or the guy who tried to install a NOS kit by running the line to the gas tank.

"HA! I got the oil out without taking the nut off. My car probably hates me now though. I just unscrewed the oil filter and turned the car on. Makes a mess because oil sprays everywhere, but I got the **** out of the car. Filled it up with mobile one and yeah."

thats erm clever :camera

Dear God! I don't know much about cars, but this made me bust out in tears!!! :lmao :lmao :lmao

Its like turning your computer on while flushing out water in your water cooling setup to add in new water. :lmao

And seeing as this made it to a computer hardware forum, that really says something about this guy and what he did. :lmao

Its so funny that I'm using it in my sig now!

:lmao :lmao :lmao :lmao :lmao

I killed my first car changing my oil. I did everything right and was happy about it. Then later the night I drove around and didn't know the oil had leaked out and killed the engine as I was driving to the store. :whatthe

A SRT-4 owner couldn't get the oil bleed bolt out so he removed the oil filter and ran it dry.

i'm tired.

Some neon owner wanted to change his oil. So he went to take off the bleeder bolt but it wouldn't crack. So instead he took off the oil filter and ran the car till it ran dry.

There is this bolt at the bottom of the engine somewhere that you can undo, and the oil will slowly drain out. This guy could not get the bolt off, so he removed a part of the oil system, and then ran the engine to pump it out.

Think of it as removing one of the hoses from the watercooling system in a computer, and then turning on the computer so that the pump will pump out all of teh coolant till it is dry. The cpu would overheat and maybe break. This is what happened to that guy's engine. Similarly, at least.
