Back from Hurricane with a pain. ;_(

Welp. I am finally back from hell! Yes. The hurricane francis went through us and is now passed.

First off, you may wonder what happened, you are like ooh, what happened to you. Well. Here it is.

Problem 1. No power for 11 days. Yep, I had no power for 11 days thanks for FPL/Florida Power and Light. My thoughts are that FPL needs to get it together because the whole major area of Palm Beach County was out. However, the "UPPER CLASS" citizens did indeed have their power back in a matter of hours as confirmed by me driving in the spot where they live and seeing it lit up. All of the island was lit up for days, days, and more days before I had my power back and they don't aren't even on the main land. :grumble :tantrum

Problem 2. Loss of property/property damage. FPL power pole fell in my $4000 pool and destroyed it. $500 dollar awnining destroyed. $200 dollar trampoline totaled. Fence fell in . And $7000+ Roof job demolished. :( :Nope

Problem 3. I had no cable for since 9/01/2k4.

Problem 4. Wood flew off our house and went in to someone's car window.

Problem 5. Lost wages. Seeing my boss is biff diff and doesn't pay for quote on quote "Hurricane Leave" I lost something like 400-500 dollars. :(

Oh and on top of all this . My car's exaust system that cost me about 200 bux to do flew off during the hurricane.

I am about to blow. :nuts

Glad to see you're back and okay *not hurt* or something like that sorry
to hear about all the bad stuff happening though. :Sigh We're getting the
remnants of Ivan right now here in TN. the lights went out a little while ago
for a few minutes after a big gust of wind came through and the wind is getting
so strong now that the trees out in the front yard keep making a poping and cracking
sound like their going to break and come crashing down on the house any minute now. :jawsdown :noway

Yeah at least you're not hurt or anything. That is always worse, im sure you would guve stuff up in order to maintain the safety of a loved one/

Good to see you are still in good health. Your health is important, everything else can be handled by insurance (if they don't go bankrupt first) and rebuilt better.

Exaust mods are a joke unless you put on a good Header. :taunt
Toss in a UDP, CTA intake with K&N filter, Cams gears, Optimized throttle body and a SuperChip based on a two good Dyno runs. :cool_shad

Yeah, we have insurance. I hope they reimburse us for all the damage. My mom is taking care of it all tonight. I went out today and relized that I am lucky cause I talked to some guy when I was in Home Depot and he said that his whole house which is a mobile home is going to have to be rebuilt. I was like damn that sucks bro. I am just glad to be back to normal life now. Back to school for the whole first week next week and I am actually happy because I have been without school and normal social life for a good 2 weeks now.

We only has'd like 2 days last week of school cause Tuesday I took off and we had no school on Monday and no school on thursday. I think thursday was a jewish holiday.

Anyway, it is nice to be back in the game now. :heartbeat :banana
