Changing my food intake and lifestyle last January I've lost a total of 65 lbs (most in the first three months afterwards). I've slowly whittled my body fat percentage down to 7.5 - 8% (body weight is at 144 lbs) and now my abs seem to be showing up quite nicely. All the muscle seems to be building very slowly thanks to my fast metabolism but it's getting there and that's what's important.
This is why I work out.

It's great. Throw some weight training in and watch the feeling really get into high gear. :KICK ASS

I need to figure out something for my arms and shoulders. They need a little boost. Maybe pushups will be good...I can use my own weight as resistance. What do you think?

Just body resistance is a bit tough. An inexpensive set of dumbells can make the world of difference. I was surprised what all you can do with just a set of dumbells and a fitness ball.
Push-ups work the chest muscles (pectorals) not much arms. Pull-ups work the back muscles. Although, both are excellent, just not what you asked for.
You can do tricep dips but that will only work the triceps. It's late, I'll see if I can find some workouts tomorrow. A small...and I mean very inexpensive...investment in some dumbells and fit ball will make a world of difference.

Great job :thumb
I also really started exercising a few months back and have changed my diet. Since then I've lost 20lbs (153lbs 5'10"), but more important than weight I've lost a lot of body fat and about 4 inches off my waist. I still want to lost about 1-2" off my waist but at least I look and feel much better.
I keep training mainly for motorsports since I need enduro muscles and don't want to bulk up. Have to be in shape for my first drive in a Formula 1 car (maybe this coming summer :bounce )
