THERE was a ghoulish shock in store for Gazette cameraman John Myers when he downloaded photographs taken during a ghost hunt at the famously haunted Red Lion pub in Avebury.

One of his photographs taken of a mirror in the pub restaurant shows a gruesome reflection of a bald, pale faced man streaked with blood.

I've never seen a colour photo of one of these apparitions - only the old Balck and white ones.

Amazing find man. I have always been into ghosts. I have had many experiences throughout my life and seen many up close. I have been doing that with my camera as well. The night shot really picks up a lot of anomalies. Pretty scary pic though!! Color no less...creepy. Old churches and cemeteries are great for activity as well. Bastion Square downtown here used to hang people there and their bodies are buried underneath the cobblestones where people walk and shop daily. Many have seen apparitions at night there. I have to take some shots there for sure and soon. :thumb

Sweet shot man, reminds me of this old abandoned army base here in town. Totally illegal to go up there so you can only go at night by the light of a flashlight and its all decayed and in the middle of nowhere. People have seen stuff up there, from ghosts to UFOs (Huge sighting in '76 that has detailed documents from that same radar base).
