New Zealand has banned gory first-person shooter Postal 2, declaring the game not only illegal to sell but to own.

Get caught with Running with Scissors' title in your possession and you could face a NZD2000 (£756) fine, GamesIndustry.biz reports. Cairan said that he played the demo, and you could pour petrol on people!

I'm not saying that that is bad. I think that it's slightly amusing that NZ has banned a game. It's only a game. Sure, I shoot people in Half-life but I have a sense of reality godd enough to know that the only place I could do anythign remotely similar is in a game.
