New Zealand has banned gory first-person shooter Postal 2, declaring the game not only illegal to sell but to own.

Get caught with Running with Scissors' title in your possession and you could face a NZD2000 (£756) fine, GamesIndustry.biz reports. Small retailers risk a NZD20,000 (£7562) fine and up to a year in the clink for merely displaying the game, larger outlets face a NZD50,000 (£18,905) for the same offence.It's just a game, right? :What the

AS soon as my friend give me back my copy I'll post some screen shots - its pretty bad, but only if you chose to be really bad, other than that, its as bad as GTA3, VC, SA

Saw this earlier while I was at school and told a few other Kiwi's...

Cairan said that he played the demo, and you could pour petrol on people!

I'm not saying that that is bad. I think that it's slightly amusing that NZ has banned a game. It's only a game. Sure, I shoot people in Half-life but I have a sense of reality godd enough to know that the only place I could do anythign remotely similar is in a game.
