My parents are looking to get a cheap digital camera for my sister for christmas. It needs to be something that takes decent quality pictures, and easy to use. I am trying to find something that is around $120 or less. 2-3 megapixles and a optical zoom would be good.

Has anyone heard of Apex, and how are they? this (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=998927&Tab=0&NoMapp=0) is what I am looking at for now, and I am open to suggestions that meet the above parameters.
thanks

How old is your sister? It would be a good basic camera for someone under about 14. Someone older might not think it's "cool" enough. But, it's only $60.

You'll need to get an SD card. It doesn't come with one. I suggest a 128 or 256MB one. With that camera, she'll shoot for days.

And invest in some rechargable AA batteries and charger. I imagine it will go through them fairly quickly. With 4 rechargables, she'll always have a spare set ready.
