we had a wood barge beach yesterday in the first of many winter storms. took a spin out this morning to see if it was still there, and it sure was. if may look like its in deep water, but this area is where we go swiming in the summer, you can probably walk out in the water for a km or more before the water is more than a few feet deep. its going to take some serious power for them to haul this thing off the sand bar.
