Now that's impressive looking! I will have to get new tires for my car since I uh - used up nearly all the tread on the rear tires (and the majority of the fronts) in a tad over a year and uh - 11,000 miles :Roll Eyes

Reminds me of when I was living up in Ft St John

I bought a pair of tires for my mountainbike strictly for winter
I 'modded' the pair by inserting screws into the tires themselves, then lined the inside of the tire with Duct tape to prtect the innertube from the screw heads

It worked very well

Fort St John was perfect for commuting by bike, but since I worked as a field tech... I didn't get to commute to the office too often even if it was only 5 minutes away

ahah ya we do that every year

just sucks sometimes going down hills and whatnot. gotta watch your backend :D

we do oval ice races. 1/4 mile oval as fast as you can.

you can still mountian bike on the snow and whatnot, when you get to ice it can be tricky.

screws make going over logs and icy uphills soooooooooooo easy.
