A woman and her boyfriend were charged with child rape yesterday, accused of photographing the man having sex with the woman's 8-year-old daughter and posting the images on the Internet.

Kendra D'Andrea, 29, was arrested yesterday morning and pleaded not guilty later in the day in Gloucester District Court to rape of a child, posing a child in the nude, distributing obscene material, and possession of child pornography, according to Stephen O'Connell, spokesman for Essex District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett.

Judge Richard Mori ordered D'Andrea held without bail until a dangerousness hearing on Tuesday, O'Connell said.

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of D'Andrea's boyfriend, Willie Jordan, 32, who was charged with rape of a child and posing a child for sexual photographs in the couple's home on Veterans Way, O'Connell said.

D'Andrea allegedly took pictures of Jordan having sex with the girl using a cellphone camera and then posted the pictures on the Internet.

Officials discovered the photos when an anonymous tip was called into the Department of Social Services about 8:30 p.m. Thursday night, said Denise Monteiro, a department spokeswoman. The caller was concerned about the welfare of two children in D'Andrea's home and said one of them may be featured on an Internet porn site, Monteiro said.

"We had a bunch of people jump on the Net and tried to track the photos down," Monteiro said. "One of our gurus managed to find it. They're just horrific photos."

Officials at DSS printed about 100 photos from the Internet and rushed them to Gloucester police, Monteiro said. Police seized photographs and videotapes when they searched the house, according to broadcast reports.

The Department of Social Services took custody of the 8-year-old victim and her 3-year-old sister.

"They're pretty traumatized," Monteiro said. "We wanted to make sure they are together.

D'Andrea's lawyer, John Bjorlie, said his client admitted to police that she committed the crimes because she was afraid of Jordan.

"She admitted that she was very afraid of her boyfriend, who is the subject of a warrant," Bjorlie said. "She did appear terrified."

Man sought on child rape charges arrested in Michigan

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (AP) -- A man wanted for allegedly raping his girlfriend's 8-year-old daughter then posting pictures of the act on the Internet has been arrested in Michigan.

Gloucester Police Lt. Jerry Cook said police in the Detroit suburb of Livonia stopped a tractor-trailer driven by Willie Jordan, 32. Cook said a global positioning system in Jordan's rig helped police track him.

He was arrested without incident and is being held at the Wayne County Jail in, pending arraignment on fugitive from justice charges. Jordan is wanted in Gloucester on charges of rape of a child.

The alleged victim's mother, Kendra D'Andrea, 29, was arrested Friday and arraigned in Gloucester District Court on charges of rape of a child, posing a child in the nude, distributing obscene material, and possession of child pornography.

D'Andrea is being held without bail until a hearing on Tuesday. She allegedly took pictures of Jordan having sex with the girl using a cell phone camera, then posted the pictures on the Internet. The Department of Social Services called police after getting an anonymous tip. Police seized photographs and videotapes when the searched the house, according to broadcast reports.

The woman's attorney, John Bjorlie, said D'Andrea admitted to police that she committed the crimes because she was afraid of Jordan.

Sadly the guy going to prison will be put in a special 'protected' area where other child molesters are put. Not much of a punishment for destroying that child's sanity for the rest of her life. Frankly the each should get life/no-parole with beatings and other forms of torture on a weekly basis.

I wouldn't be so sure. Your "average" child molesters (i.e. touching a child or having a child touch someone else in a sexual manner or making a child perform sexual acts but not actually having sex with a child) are the ones that get 5 to 10 years. I have a friend who's father is in prison for 11 years just for molesting her when she was a child (>10 years old).

But people that actually "go all the way" and have sex with a child are the ones that get 20 to 30 years. Not to mention the pornography charges. I foresee these two spending a lot of time in prison. :clapping

Besides, are we sure "he" is a first time offender? If he's not he probably won't get out until he's a very old man.

The curious thing is that, if she was so afraid of the boyfriedn, why did she post them on the web site? Why not just email them to the police? I think she's lying...

(Speaking of emailing stuff to the police, I have a new hobby. I carry a camera in my car and when I find someone parked in a handicapped spot without the plate or placard, I take a picture with the car, it's plate and the handicapped sign in front on the parking place. Then I email it to the police. :grumble :devil :camera )

I have had the distinct pleasure of having someone who was molesting their very young daughter tossed in the can. His plan was to have her hooking for him when she got older. I paid the initial legal costs of the revoking the girl's custody from him as well as launching the prosecution of the case.

Problem was, he only got 2 stinking years :tantrum What kind of freakin' justice is that??!! Oh I did make sure to pass the word around at the jail he was in as to exactly why he was there. :devil I also passed word along to some old aquaintances of mine that feel the world would be a far better place without this kind of person in it. You might be suprised how some of the more hardcore types out there feel about this kind of behavior. Dealing drugs or guns is one thing. Molesting small children is something else entirely unless your business happens to be child pr0n.

Believe me, if this scumbag is still out there (I have doubts), he knows to stay far, far away.

Needless to say the girl's mental state is an absolute mess. She is going to need a lifetime of therapy.
