So far I've gotten Doom 3 and socks. But that was Christmas eve, I gotta wait for my mom to wake up before we open anymore.
This year was a great year for me, because it's the first Christmas I've had a job. I was able to give something out of my own pocket, my hard earned cash, and it was expensive. It made me extremely happy being able to do it. I got my dad a BFG Geforce 6800 w/ Half-Life 2 and Far Cry. My dad used to play games back in the Doom I & II days but since hasnt because he could never bring himself to spend a lot of money on a video card. So now I'll have the chance to play games with him again. Now all I got to do is save up some money to get my mom something too. Better late then never.
Without a shadow of a doubt, being able to give like I have this year has made this my best Christmas to date.

I got the continued unconditional true love of my wife. :heartbeat :kiss
As for material things I got some badly needed articles of clothing.
On another note, one of the best feelings we both received was a look from a 7-year-old little girl at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis when we took a load of toys down there last week. The weather was terrible and we started to cancel but Brandi's brother said there was no problem getting in so we went. This one little girl has had a very rough year with leukemia and wasn't expected to live until Christmas. Miracles do happen though and last month she showed signs of remission and though still weak and sick, the smile that beamed from that beautiful face when Santa gave her the very present that she had been wanting was all that either of us needed for Christmas.

We had a good Christmas here in the Wazzie household!
Even SNOW came in at the last minute! It is snowing now..but will be a mere dusting...BUT we did get some snow! And it will be mild this coming week with a high of 47 for New Years Eve! :jawsdown
Wazman and I will be getting new floors here soon....but in addition to that we did get some Christmas cash $$$$ from his parents and a radio, cassette and record player from my parents. One of those all in one combo's that look like an old radio. I cannot wait to play some of my old 45's on that....in addition to some of my mothers extensive record collection I might put my sticky fingers on! :spin
Nothing like listening to old vinyl records.....
With my Chritmas cash I am going out tomorrow to get a crock pot or slow cooker...so when I am working I come home and VOILA dinner is served. And I will see what other sales I can snag up.
Wazman got me the Chrismas Story DVD and a book I have been wanting....he is so sweet :kiss
I hope all of your Christmas's were good this year!

I got "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" and "Warrior Within," a couple console games I've been itching for, and $50.
I used the $50, which was given early, to fund gifts for my family. :spin
My wife got the "Queen Collection" 3-CD set with the book, since my individual discs were stolen a long time ago (1995?), but she's going to get a subscription to "Worlds of Warcraft" when we get home.

WazLady already posted about the floors. We're eagerly awaiting their arrival.
So what'd I give? Gave WazLady a For Better or For Worse book and "A Christmas Story" on DVD. I got my dad a gift certificate and my mom got one of those Willow Tree statue things. And of course our daughter got lots and lots of toys. She is very happy. :)
What'd I get? WazLady got me my present early - she got me the neck for the guitar I've been working on. So that was really cool. Otherwise, all I really wanted was money, and that's what I got. So I'm going to put some towards the mortgage, and the rest will go for pickups and electronics for my guitar, and probably the Lord of the Rings Extended Edition DVD box set. And maybe some clothes or something; I don't know for sure.
Anyway, we all got cool stuff in Wazland this year, and everyone is happy with their gifts. Hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday, and I'll see you all in the new year! :) :beer
