Mercury and Venus pass very, very close to each other over the next couple of days. It should be visible all around the world. Look East 30 minutes or so before sunrise. Venus will be the brightest "star" you can see. Mercury will be right next to it.
Mercury is very hard to find normally, so if you can look over the next few days, don't miss this opportunity.

I was outside about an hour ago....I think I saw Venus and Mercury..but didn't see Mars......
The Moon was nice and bright!!!!!!

I almost got skunked by the clouds this morning. Every time I would turn on the camera, they would move in front of the planets. When I turned it off, they'd clear. :banghead
Anyway, I caught this picture when I got back to town. Compare it with yesteray's shot (above) and notice how far Mercury moved relative to Venus. It's the Dance of the Planets. :)
