We are going to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville before New Year's Eve and on New Year's Eve we are taking the dinner cruise on the General Jackson Showboat. There will be a dance band onboard and good food. :Thumb

I'm spending the evening with my friends Jenna and Josh (who is on leave from the Navy right now), and of course, in the company of the one and only (and oh so beautiful) Sylvia. The rest, I don't know, nor do I care.

LAN party over at a friends place. Nothing special. Watch a few movies, eat junk food and generally have a good time. I am SO going to kick his ass on Warhammer 40K :devil

Wait for them behind the door, and when they come in, knock 'em out and steal their money. They'll never know what's coming.

Usually for New Year's Wazman and I stay home and I buy a bottle of Champagne and ring in the new year's watching the fireworks go off in Chicago via the televison set. We play games and nibble on some finger food.
Our new floors will be installed next week so we have work to do from now till then....

Hmm....a Friday night? Well...I suppose I'll be gaming until 2AM. Of course, take a break at midnight to watch the ball drop. I'm going to have to install some more games though. HL2, Halo, and BF1942 aren't enough to sustain me until 2AM. :Wink

2004 was a very interesting year for me:
1. Old home of 16 years sold and moved out
2. New home built and moved in
3. Daughter started University this year. She's commuting rather than doing residence which means she ends up with my wife's car (wife ends up with my Lexus :Crying ).
4. (Ties in with 3) Bought a new car to cover the one my daughter wound up with full time. Not nearly as nice as the Lexus, but it'll do.
5. Became a contributing member of 3GM :Thumb
6. Jumped the Intel ship and moved on to AMD's Athlon64 series
7. Became the architectural tech lead of a team of software developers based in Bejing and Taipei (challenging!)
(whew!) I hope 2005 is a little less eventful!
New Years Eve - wife is stuck working until Midnite! (sux hard) so I am hanging around home watching the festivities on TV.
Happy New Year gang! http://smilies.sofrayt.com/fsc/cheers2.gif
