Telly Paretta (Julianne Moore) is undergoing therapy to deal with the loss of her young son. When her therapist claims that Paretta actually never had a son and that she's unconsciously fabricated all her memories, Paretta is aghast; when she meets another patient (Dominic West) with the same situation, however, she begins an investigation, trying to uncover the truth.

WazLady rented this one today, so we'll watch it tonight and see what we think. I've been wanting to see it for a while now.

Watch the extended unreleased version, not the original! It is far superior to the theatrical version!! Way different and better IMO.

We saw the alternate ending - WazLady prefers the alternate ending, and I prefer the original ending.

I did notice Anthony Edwards' character disappears about halfway through the movie - does he come back. or is he another one of either the agents working for who's behind this or one of them himself? Or is he just a regular guy who just got caught up in this and is not important enough to worry about.

The effects were neat, though. The giant ring of clouds in the sky at one point reminded me of something. And the people getting pulled away - that was neat.
