CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Waiter, there's a nose ring in my soup. It's that sort of complaint the Wyoming Governor's Food Safety Council is trying to avoid.

The council is recommending a ban on facial jewelry for restaurant workers who prepare food.

Jon Cecil of the Cheyenne Health Department told the council there have been several cases of tongue rings and other face metal being found in restaurant food.

But when contacted later by The Associated Press, Cecil couldn't document a single case. The council voted 5-3 to recommend the face jewelry ban, which could go into effect as early as this spring. :clapping

It's not going to happen for the same reason those jokers in Virginia couldn't get a bill passed about low-riding pants showing your undies.

It 's just some jackass trying to justify his existence - after all he's got to show that he's doing something for all those tax dollars they are paying him. So they propose BS bans.

Not that I care for facial piercings, but come on when I go to eat food I care about ONE thing only, quality of food. And a nose ring is just as unlikely to fall out into my soup as a earring is. :smokin
