Ok, I did have a thread on this, but it didn’t seem too much of any good, ah well lol.

Ok ok what is the point of this?!
We just received another GREAT thing from sponsoring a rider for an event. A Placing of 2nd overall from the huge turnout in Calgary Alberta’s Trials Event at Blackfoot Motorsports Track. Trials is the very first picture you see of a person on a bike lunging.

We sponsored a good friend one of our trials bikes, for a trials event, if you have not seen or heard of this, trials takes HUGE balance skills, and skill to overcome many obstacles such as giant switchback hillsides, boulders, leaps from one obstacle to another,

But we have yet to have anything related to our company, Mitchell Rock Systems INC. As no logo has been selected by me, I have not selected a logo yet because the turnout of submissions was quite slim and I wish to have a chance for all to try!

Where will the logo be?

We want to have banners on our trucks when we go to shows/events to have people realize who we are, and that we have riders placing 1sts 2nds and 3rds.

The Logo and Mitchell Rock Systems Inc. name will be on, shirts, Shorts, Stickers, Banners, Sweaters, jackets, equipment. Also the logo will be on various sites that affiliate us with the sport of dirtbiking such as www.secondgearclub.com, and our upcoming site www.mitchellrocksystems.tk. Trophies and prizes will also include the Mitchell Rock Systems name and/or logo!

But most importantly on our personal Dirtbikes, equiptment and any dirt bike or person we sponsor!

What Do We Sponsor?

Sponsorship will be in the range of, paying for fuel/gas for equipment/bikes. Entry fees for events (can reach upwards of 120 Canadian Dollars PER EVENT! + gas for bikes! Transportation for riders and their bikes to certain events, which can get up to be 5 hour drives depending on location.

What are some examples, and how do I submit my creation?

The Previous thread on this is located here

Both pages/threads are active for submissions, we may, or may not use multiple submissions for logos!
Here are just a few current logos of other companies that sponsor such events, these logos are for the companies themselves.

Uh Mitch, shouldn't this be in the advertising section?

As for the logo, what happened to the the last contest you ran?

http://www.3dgameman.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34909

It looks to me that even though you had at least 3 contestants - some with several submissions for you, no prize was awarded. That would be really dishonest. All contestants also complied with the rules of the contest.

If you run a contest, you must choose a winner by the deadline and award the prize even if you only get one submission. In that thread you had several. It doesn't matter if you use, like or dislike the submissions -- you still must pick one even if you have no intention of using it. In a contest, the prize is must always be awarded unless there are no contestants.

Anything else is fraudulent.

If you want a prefessionally designed logo, my suggestion is for you to work closely with a graphic designer (professional or amateur - it doesn't matter) to get exactly what you want and pay the price.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how you would take my post since it is as little critical. Some would have flamed me thoroughly over it.

It really is the honest thing to do, and it shows your appreciation to those that did contribute :Thumb

Good luck in your new contest :smokin
