Selling my bike...it's on consignment at a local Triumph dealership. Hopefully it'll be sold before too much longer.
New bike due in Spring '06...will post pics when I get it.
How come?
Saving up for the new model?

The Triumph Daytona T595 that I had was the second year they had produced a fuel injected engine (1998). The idle control system and the fuel injection system was crude, inefficent, and unreliable. The bike was in the shop every other month with expensive adjustments and whatnot. The only Triumph mechanic I trust w/ that bike is in Dallas and we live in Fort Worth...the drive to the shop...in good traffic...is about 45 minutes. Today it took over an hour to get there. I can't get into the computer to make the adjustments myself so taking it in is the best option.
I want to ride daily not a occasional weekend warrior. In the spring I'll get a Yamaha R1 or possibly a sport touring bike...not sure yet. The good thing about the Jap bikes is that you can work on them yourself or find a competent mechanic pretty close to where ever you live. Triumph isn't that easy. I'll miss riding but selling it right after RPM Cycles got done re-tuning it is the best thing for my wife and I right now. I'll be back on two before you know it!
