I'm heading to Lacombe, Louisiana (North across lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans.) tomorrow to help install two temporary TV transmitters for the company I work for. One is on the WB network and one is affiliated with ABC. The hurricane flooded the existing transmitter plant and ruined all of the equipment so we are building two systems out of spare equipment that was available around the company.
I don't know if the wireless Internet coverage will be back up but I am taking three laptops, which will be able to access either Verizon or Sprint high speed or satellite when the bird becomes available again.
I'll be gone for probably 3 - 4 weeks. If I have a chance I will post some pictures. Brandi will probably be leaving New Orleans this weekend so I will probably miss her. She is moving up the coast to the Biloxi, Mississippi area and with the travel conditions that exist in the area it might as well be 2,000 miles rather than 100 miles. :banghead
