not to bad at all -- while im waiting for something to happen (render, move etc) i check in ...

but used to be cronic on irc ... all times day and night .. i stopped completly and never went back .. let my shell accounts lapse ...

I hardly ever see daylight, just when I go to school in the evenings. Being addicted to the Internet is a bad thing. I know from first hand experience how you can watch your life go by.

i'm addicted to these forums. i don't really do anything but them. sometimes i play games and stuff but i'm mostly on the forums. also, since 3gm.com is my homepage, i have a habbit of clicking on Forum every time i open mozilla. it's really annoying because half of the time i dont even need to check the forums...lol

My home page is a forum & it takes me to an hour to an hour & a half to catch up with all the forums I am in.

Yes egar. SPAM is really sticky! I was lookin over one of my threads and i thought my posts were deleted (yah thanks a bunch rod/eferz) But THEY WERE STIL THERE!?! its crazy stuff here man!

I hate e-mail.

Forums are a good place for information.
That and I can't pay games on those slow work computers, so there is really nothing else to do but sit here and share my insanity with others.

But while posting here today I am doing laundry...mowed the grass earlier today..took the pooch outside a few times...

So I do this in between everything....

Now..can I get a volunteer to clean the bathroom????

I wouldn't say that I was addicted to the forums.........................
welllllll on second thoughts I guess I am hehehehe I belong to a
couple of other forums like Nforcershq to help out fellow NF2 chip
board users and a7vtroubleshooting forum to try and help fellow
a7v board users solve their problems. I usually check in with the
other forums once or twice a week to catch up but I'm always in
here unless I'm building someone a computer or working on one
and then I check in on the forums here every few minutes hehehe
so I can say a big YES I guess I am addicted now.:devil

I'm definitely addicted. I check in here constantly. It's the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. In fact, when there aren't any new posts, I have to force myself to not keep clicking "refresh" constantly :). The 3GM main forum page is my homepage, so all I have to do is fire up my browser to see what threads have new posts in them. Email...? Oh yes, now I remember, that's that stuff I get to tell me somebody has replied to a thread I posted in. Yep. I get lots of that, and I keep checking it almost constantly. Sad, isn't it? I'd go outside, but I don't have a laptop or wireless LAN, so it just wouldn't work out. Besides, the sun would make me turn to stone. :sun_smile

That is because there are free e-mail accounts.
The problem is the ease to have those free accounts.
And the sad part is M$ does not do a very good job
of keeping the spam out. My hotmail accounts got so bad
I could only used them with the people on my lists. Everyone
else was deleted or blocked. Then you have all of those Viruses
and such that you can't get from a forum PM. I don't even
think 3GM will let you start an Account here with a hotmail
or yahoo e-mail address anymore.

Amazingly today I deleted a bunch of my forums & am now down to under 10, the funny thing is that in the midst of doing that I signed up for another forum. LOL

This is the only forum I post on. I do belong to some YaHoo groups...but for web based this is the only one.

I signed up for a few back when this forum was down all that time a couple of months ago... But now I'm down to three - this one, Rage3D, and a Beatles forum... Haven't been to that last one in a while, though...
