The phone and cable companies now control more than 95% of all Internet access. These large corporations are spending millions of dollars to promote legislation that would divide the Internet into a two-tiered system.

Sounds like the providers want us to become China.

I found this interesting: http://cdn.moveon.org/content/pdfs/MoveOnChristianCoalition.pdf

Not sure what good my signing a petition to the U.S. Congress will do. If it would help, I would be happy to oblige.

Something about the wording brings up a red flag in my head.
Not enough facts on that page... too much bloat.
Net Neutrality is a joke, we never had this to start with.

Considering what they just did with the Immigration bill, they won't pay any attention to anything we say. It all comes down to who puts the most money in their pockets. Maybe all the new representatives who get put in this fall will do better. :thumb

As to the futility of writing to the US government, write to your own instead. This is going to be a global phenomenon before it's done. Better to start fighting the new "China Syndrome" before it gets into full swing.

Thanks for the advice. I will seriously consider it.
