Hello Forum Members,
It has come to our attention that people are not reading the rules here at 3GM. We understand!! Rules are the last thing people think about when you're having fun... ;)
However, let us give a few quick pointers.
1. We here at 3GM do not care for SPAM in any shape or form. If we think you are posting Spam we will ban the account and remove all posts.
2. We do not care for WAREZ/SWEARING/BASHING/PORN!
3. Calling people names here will NOT be tolerated! Offending words and or posts will be removed the first time and a warning given. Future warnings will result in time out or permanent banning if needed.
4. Watch your signature size! We don’t care for large signatures at 3GM. However we also want people to feel at home. So we have allowed images in your signatures. All JAVA and < SCRIPTS> have been disabled in signatures, but most VB codes remain fully functional. It is genuinely acceptable to have 5 to 10 lines of signature text in height. After 5 lines you will need to use a font size of “1”. ~USE THE VB CODES FOR FONT SIZES~ You can also have an image in your signature so long as it does not exceed 600-wide by 90-height in pixels. Going over these set dimensions will results in the image removal and a warning. If repeated, possible banning will result, but we would rather have people moderate their own signatures first.
5. Posting pictures larger than 1280x720 or 1024x768 resolutions will be removed no questions asked!
If you can't resize the picture try using this code:
< img src=http://*** width=800 height=600 border=0>
Replace *** with URL and Remove the added space from "< img"
<img src=http://www.3dgameman.com/IMAGES/images_06/posting_images_01.gif width=640 height=480 border=0>
Unfortunately HTML has been disabled in signatures for security reasons, but you can still use the VB code. The resizing of images in VB does not work, so you will need to resize your signature images on your own. Below is an example of a hyper linked image with VB coding.
