You know the format - random celebrities are paid to live/spend time together for the duration of some arduous task, humiliating pranks, or emotionally involved life-change. So what's your favorite celebreality show ever? I'm cheating, I think my favorite is one that hasn't come out yet: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/armed_and_famous/ It has La Toya Jackson and Jack Osbourne training to be police officers, can't wait.

So called "Reality TV" makes me violently ill. If I see another "Survivor" Series debuting I will be writing some extremely irate emails to the network (and my literary tongue can get very irate!). And that whole Brittney/K-Fed show debacle .... ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!
I will stick to nice non-reality TV that has some real entertainment value thank you.
Reality TV series should be BANNED as brain-rot!

Reality TV = mindless drivel.
Survivor:
No deaths are involved, so the title is moot.
Add some man eating sharks into the equation and at least make things interesting. How about a "Survivor Baghdad"
The amazing race:
A race involving goat herding, bungie jumping, earth worm wrangling etc :What the
Tell me where the start and finish lines are and I'll take a plane.
The Bachelor:
A good looking guy pretends to be rich, and a bunch of sexy models who want to marry him. Apparently none of the models know that he is faking it and is not rich at all. :Yea right
From there the rest of the reality shows get progressively worse.

Survivor used to be good, you gotta admit?
I have no comment about the other 2, and the Amazing Race is a lot more "rigged" than a race. Same with The Mole, the "race" isn't continuous and contestants have to stop and fill out paperwork.

The only one I've been able to sit through is Flavour Of Love. Don't know why because it's so bad, but I just crack up everytime I watch it.

there is no reality in reality tv so ya I think after the first season of any reality show should just stop there and end this dribble that only makes people dumber.

There ain't no such thing as "Reality" TV. All of it is scripted and acted out regardless what you may see happening. It is all BS of the highest odor.

Heh, have you ever actually worked on a reality TV show? I assure you they are not all scripted. Of course you need to re-do things for coverage, so they'll have people walk into a room and meet someone "new" a bunch of times - but there aren't any scripts. I'll give you that it's not reality, if you want reality - turn off the TV, but for the most part reality shows are still unscripted. For instance, I'm sure the producers of Armed and Famous didn't write this into their show: http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/armed-&-famous-cop-erik-estrada-gets-in-shouting-match-with-victim-1011162.php

One show that all males should atleast watch once is "Dancing With The Stars". Who wouldn't like to watch a TV show with chicks dancing around in uniforms that barely cover?

Oh don't get me started on MTV programming, it all sucks with the exception of Rob and Big, which is pretty damn funny for its nonsensical nature. But the rest is horrible and unfortunately my wife is like a moth to light to any reality tv. :bomb

I watched the premiere of Armed and Famous last night and it was a lot better than I'd anticipated. I mean, I thought I'd like it, but I didn't think it would be actual good TV (I like a lot of trash). It was, though, I don't think it will get cancelled. I saw clips from it on two different morning shows today. Both the clips were of Trish Stratus getting tasered, which definitely was a highlight of the show (she's the only one of the cast that had it done the real way, and she had it done a lot longer than anyone else... hardcore!)

I think all of the people that participate in "Reality TV" and the people that watch and believe the drivel should be forced to drink 100 ml of 100% Phenothaline and locked into a room with no toilet. :devil :devil :devil :Wink

No one else is watching Armed and Famous? It's apparently the #2 rated show in its timeslot, but I'm the only person I know who is hooked on it. Hmmm.... where are these hidden fans?

You do understand that some of it is director intended and the director sort of "directors" some of the fights?
Show is alright. I give it #2 place for worst acting, right under PimpMyRide!

actually there is no directing on their part only on the camera crew in fact when the director was trying to get them to do things he told then screw off find another biker builder we do what we want to do deal with it so its not directed or scripted the camera crew of course have to setup for shots and they have to wait sometimes for those camera angels but most of the time its a free for all and the camera crew have to be on their tows

Well, they are poor actors on camera :P PMR has the worst I ever saw in my life though.... Though I guess I should give 'em all a break. They are all mechanics and bike builders! Not actors :)
Its an interesting show though, don't get me wrong. I hear TLC is going to be airing it now. They have some cool commercials (what was that song being played by that women?)

Robo if there was acting involved would it be reality tv? ask yourself that for acting to be in place means its scripted and planned and that their are retakes and so on kinda gets rid of the purpose of reality tv doesnt it?
If you want acting go watch a hollywood movie.

First of all, majority of "reality TV" shows are scripted...
Second, you misunderstood what I mean by acting. When they sit infront of the camera to talk about what they are doing or whatever, they arent "camera" material... Erm, not sure how to describe it really... Like, it sounds fake... Or something like that... MMMMMM, just ignore me :P I don't know how to describe it.
