Just so you know Yessy2952, the 3GM forums people are a family basically. We had a big scare a month ago because a massive giveaway where we had a lot of people join up and spam the forums. While we do have one moderator, Tivon, he can't be everywhere at once, thus, we are here to help him out. Even before Tivon was the mod, it was up to us to police the forums. It's just us being defensive because the 3GM forum is our home kinda, and any pollution of it makes us pretty peeved.

I understand that this is not my website and that it is rodney's and that I am not an admin. I am not trying to be an admin or moderator. That is Rodney's, ZEEK's, and Tivon's jobs.

I also understand that just because my post count is higher than yours doesn't give me rights above you. I was just trying to be a good neighbor and let you know about your posts.

Yep, it is much better than the Stock cooling for Pentium 4 CPU's. Man it would be preety funny if Rodney would make a review on the Stock Pentium 4 cooler. What would the rating be? It is a "OK" product, not even "Great" lol. :lmao

Thats true, but you still have the right to brag that you have a LC system. This type of system is designed for people who don't want to put in like $300 into a full custom LC system, or don't know how to set one up. When I first looked at LC I was like

"wTF? What are all of these parts? It all so confusing. Wait, I need that AND that? And now I will need that if I want to cool this? crap! How do I install this thing! There are so many parts. What if I install it wrong and it leaks? Then il be screwed and I can't RMA because its my fault."

So this type of "all in one" system is perfect for those users who don't want to air cool and want a small liquid cooling system without the worries of high cost, setup, testing, leaks etc.

Its a nice prize :) Its good to take a break from having all of these case contests!

Not really. Its at 20dB minimum so my guess is its like 30-40dB at max.

I read a couple of reviews on this LC system and it seems to cool the GPU FAR BETTER than the CPU.

It cooled a 7800GT to 48c at load compared to 70c with stock cooling and 60c with a zalman HSF.

For the C2D in the test, a good ol' like $50 HSF cooled the CPU 4c better at load than the viva and 1c better at load.

If I will win this lc system, I will install it on my x1300pro because its like 65c idle and 75c load (without OCing. w/ OCing its like 75c idle and 85c load! :|)

I like this system compared to other prebuilt ones because its VERY simple to install and you get choices of where to install it. It includes hardware to be mounted in an empty expansion slot, and also in an empty 3.5" bay or 5.25" bay. You can also mount it on the side panel with your own custom brackets. Other prebuilt systems require that you mount it on the back 120mm fan hole.. which some people don't have!

OEM fans for AMD aren't actually that bad. Reason being, the processors just don't get hot at all. What temps are you getting? Also, take a pic of your case because you might just have it insulated poorly (no offense).

when i clock the 4200+ to 4.5ghz, which is the most i can get out of it with the oem fan, the temp goes up to 60°C, which is way too much in my opinion. ill add a pic soon, but i dont think the isolation is a problem. i hav 3 case fans...

Yup, you can buy it at most grocery stores, it will just look like spring water containers but says Distilled Water on it.

The kit comes pre-filled with coolant and all hoses attached between the radiator, alarm sensor and water-block. The hardest part of the installation is trying to position everything so that the alarm sensor is below the radiator and in the proper position.
I'll be installing one in my PC this weekend and will try to take some pics.

Protocol's Incomplete Review of an Incompletely designed product.

The first problem came in when I was taking out the CPU. This one isnt anything against the product, just against my stupidity when i originally built this system a year and 4 months ago. 3 pins on the CPU had paste on them. Only a little bit, but not enough to harm the CPU, thankfully.

The second problem came in AFTER I had replaced the motherboard retension bracket, and placed the screws through the holes. I couldnt find a place ANYWHERE to mount this thing effectively without the tubes being in the way of something.. The component I was most relying on, the 5.25" convertor, which would allow me to install this in a cd drive bay slot, was missing from the system.

I may post some pictures of the product soon, but for now, today was my first computer failure, and i'm lucky I didnt lose anything out of it.

There was nothing wrong with the product itself, but that I couldnt get the nut on the flow indicator/alarm to face up without having something being in the way of the tubes.

In my rating system, this gets a frown smile. :(

Also. I hate to give a bad review. This thing may of performed well if I had gotten it to work, but for now, I'm gonna sell it, and probably get some good quiet air cooling.

If this wasnt pre built, I would be able to modify the tube length and position, and id be set, but I guess I learned my lesson on prebuilt kits.
