Yup, I wish I won something :( That heatsink or notepal woulda been handy. Oh well, a PSU would be nice also! I really need a new one if I am going to LC. My Raidmax one isn't gunna cut it. Not to mention the extra leads are annoying and the non-sleeved cables make such a mess!

Same would be with these. If you checked out Rod's review, I would say, use these on a system that won't be doing too much gaming, or if it did, you'd wanna put it on a system not pullin' as much power from it as it can take such as, having only one HDD and Optical, and keeping the graphics chips and such low. Rod could probably elaborate much more on how hard you wanna push these units.

That's considering if you win, but yes, any standard ATX power supply will fit in any standard ATX case as long as the power supply is not modular. If it is, you can still probably fit it in there, but sometimes it'll hit up against your top optical drive which just happens to also be the longest one.

The only time you'd have a problem is with 1kW PSUs like the PC Power & Cooling one.

so what will you do if you win...

well I would use this power supply for the system I had before all the hardware updates eg taking what was switched out and building a system out of it and turn it into a file/fear server. ^_^ so either psu will work well with that system as it wont be OCed...much but probably will be on most of the time, just need a psu and ram and it will be ready to go, oh and a bigger bedroom lol.

Edit: actually if I win the 600watt then thats going into my current rig and I will put the 500watt that was in that rig into the file/fear server =p

Well, it may not be the world's best PSU but its 600w and better than my 500w raidmax PSU. If I don't win, oh well. I do hope that the selected winners contact rodney. Would be a shame to lose after winning :(
