I am looking at shows that are going to be on the History or Discovery channels. What do I see?

MODERN MARVELS - CHEESE

How cool is that? A documentary / info show about CHEESE! Those kind of shows just totally rock, cause I'm like LEARNING stuff.

How lame am I for getting excited about a show about CHEESE?

It's not that often you get serious documentary / info shows about stuff like that, and I think they are really well done.

Anyone else appreciate this type of show?

Or am I just nuts? :)

Do you like to cook? Then maybe you should watch "Good Eats." I like those Discovery shows, like mythbusters, really wish I had cable, but I guess those underground Tv link websites will do fine with DivX.. Hey, I'm a man of opportunity, got my priorities and the Internet is before TV. heh

With very few exceptions (i.e. Dr. Who, Heroes & the like) Discovery channel & HGTV is about the only TV I watch these days - which isn't much. Too much brain-rot on the tube these days. I spend about 5 hrs/week in front of a TV.

I like HGTV too. Not so much on MythBusters - though I do like that the expanded the staff, cause I find the main 2 guys pretty lame.

I'm not a cooker - I'm an eater - but PBS has some of the better cooking shows, I think.

On HGTV, I like "Designed To Sell" - the one with Lisa LaPorte, and "House Hunters" with Suzanne Wuang (sp?). Good stuff.

Worst shows? BUY ME and DREAM HOME. Both too contentious.

G4 is total crap now. I used it watch it a year or so ago but they added so many bad shows. Not to mention they killed screensavers and replaced it with AOTS which they killed even more by switching around the hosts.

I mostly watch stuff on discovery and history channel :) Lots of great shows on them!

As for the rest, I refuse to watch any of those so called reality TV shows. Mostly because most of them are moronic and lower the viewers IQ. Mindless drivel, all of it.
