OK so today at school these to girls came into class and asked if anyone would want to join a club called Skills USA and what you do is pick a skill that you think you could do good in. And there is a contest called Computer Maintenance were of course you figure out whats wrong with
computer from virus to hardware problems. And some of the things you need to take with you is a Anti static wrist strap and a digital multi-meter.
Does anyone know of a good anti-static wrist band with an alligator clip?

From reading your post, are you sure this isn't a class for "special" students? It won't matter what you can do with a computer. With the english skills you just demonstrated, you'll be spending your whole career behind a counter at McDonald's. Is that what you want? No company is going to trust a buffoon with any level of responsibility and if you can't communicate, that's how they're going to look at you. Those are the skills you need to be working on.

Thats a bit harsh don't you think? I mean sure its not the best, but you can still understand the message he is trying to convey.
Anyways, wrist strap. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16899888207) That sounds like a pretty cool thing though, I wish they had that at my school...
Best regards.

Harsh but fair. Good communication skills are essential in pretty well any vaugly skilled job.
EDIT: Hang on, isn't the saying harsh but fair a bit of an oxymoron?

Sometimes being fair means being harsh ("Tough Love") ;)
Also, what does vaugly mean? Couldn't find it in a dictionary :rofl2
killergame0 does tend to butcher the language. I've asked him to correct/clarify his posting a few times.

I don't think it really matters which one you get. They basically all do the same. You can pick one up from any PC store, like tigerdirect or you can order one online from newegg. Is this strap actually necessary? I've been modifying my PC many times and never used one. I even did some stuff while it was still on, although I know that that is extremely dangerous.
