View Full Version : 3GM is really kickass
I'd just like to take a moment and congratulate all of 3GM staff for making such a wonderful website. This forum by far has the most mature and educated members around (I'm dead serious). Arguments or fights are rare, there's always a mature and intriguing discussion going on, and to top it off, there's always a kickass monthly giveaway.
I'm an active member in several pc/tech websites and none of them can reach the greatness 3GM has achieved. I'm not just saying this too, I really mean it.
Keep up the great work. :Thumb

I have to agree from what I've seen the short time I've been posting here this forum is one of the most mature groups I've ever seen, I'm active at another computer forum and there is constant bickering and fighting there! I'd also like to lend my congratulations to the staff and members of 3GM, keep up the good work! I think its because Canadians are so mellow and laid back :spin:cool_shad

feh. Excuses. It doesn't take much. If you like this board as much as you say, show it. 20 bucks isn't gonna break the bank.

When it takes me an 8 hour shift worth of working to make that, yes it does.
I'll take you up on that once I get my hardware. ;)

What?
It takes you 8 hours to make $20.
That means you make $2.50 per hour:jawsdown

I work for my dad doing some chores here and there around his shop. It's not gruesome work, but it'll get you tired by the end of the day. Plus I get nice little breaks in between. :Blah

What a cheapskate. You are being exploited there son.
You are 17 aren't you. There are lots of jobs you can do at your age... Ever think of a career in food services? McDonalds hires them around your age. I'm sure there are lots of other places like donut shops & stuff that will hire kids to clean up the store. And they won't pay you no stinking $2.50/Hr do do it.

It's commission, so I don't get a flat rate. I average out $20-$25 on a average business day. But during the holidays, for instance, I could make up to $120 a day. It all depends on how busy the shop is.
Again, it's not gruesome work (on a average day). Dust off counters, do a little vaccume, run the register, run a quick errand, etc..
During the holidays on the other hand, it's a different story. But during then, I average out $100-$120 a day. That's an average of $13.75 per hour. So yeah, it all weighs off. I'm not getting jipped lol. ;)

And you can't afford to send $20 to the internet home you love so much?
Y'know, the McDonalds idea is a much more reliable income...

Holiday season is coming up. You mean to tell me I didn't spend one penny since last year? :Blah
And on the McDonalds job, I don't have time to commit to a job. I work with my dad whenever I'm in of need money or he needs me for something. With community college and applying for universities going on, it's pretty tough to find time for that kind of stuff.
Plus, at least I have some class working with my dad lol. I bet they treat Mcdonald's employees like trash. :(

Hey, whatever.
I just though that someone who is so gung-ho about praising this site would put his money where his mouth was.
FYI: I have been a contributing member.... twice. To me this site is ok, but not great enough for me to be a contributing member for a third time.
