1 sub 2 amps

can i get my sub of which i have 1 on to my 2 amps so both the amps use the sub when they are on. i know there is 2 inputs i just dont know if they would work if they are both pluged in and if it would brack my sub or amps?

We need more info. What kind of amps? What kind of circuit do the inputs feed? Stuff like that.

the amp on my pc is a sony STR-DB780 which is a 500watt 5.1 amp. the amp on my tv is a pioneer VSX-1014 which i think is 840watt 7.1 amp. the amp is a gale 3080. i just use a single coax cable to connect it to my tv amp.

its just i would like it on my pc amp as it would save my having to buy an other plus i dont realy have the space in my room for an other sub.

Why not use a speaker switch?
