I just decided to buy the ps3 and can't wait to get it.
I chose it because of the controller, wifi, its quiet, blu-ray, "home", free internet, harddrive, hdmi 1080p, and the graphics seem to be the same as the 360
I can't believe I decided to go with sony, hopefully I made the right choice. :thumb

its quiet,0
Glad to see someone else thinks so. I don't know what crappy fans some people are getting to say it's loud, but I've gone through 2 PS3s and both are dead silent. I can't hear it at all, unless I put my ear close to it. And even that soft sound will quickly disappear during a movie or game.

i have ps3 and to be honest, online play is sluggish at times and alot of bugs with online games, also 360's graphics are superior, plain and simple, the video card is more advanced in the 360, however the Ps3 has a better CPU in it even tho its going to take approximately 2 or3 more years before they can fully learn how to use its full potential... by that time, it will be 2010-2011 and the next nintendo and Microsoft consoles are scheduled for release, really, ps3 = fail, and i fail for buying it.

I have both 360 and PS3. The PS3 doesn't fail at all. Just because the 360 has a video card that's a little more powerful doesn't make the PS3 bad at all. Online play has worked great for me (although I don't play a lot online) and it's free too. Anyway, I prefer online play on the PC. For my consoles I prefer games that aren't FPS, like RPG, Action/Adventure, etc. Also, the PS3 is one of the best Blu-Ray/Media players around, and that alone justifies the price tag.
