Hi. I've been looking though Google trying to find any non-music, non-"sound effects" ringtone. It's got to be business-like, like when you're at the office and you're receiving a phone call. I don't want to pay for like $19.95 for 180+ collection of ringtones because it's not worth the money, even if they say that they recorded it in a mixing console with sound modules, effect racks, etc-- well, what difference does it make? This happens when I see a bias in the search result, like "Business-Professional Ringtone Collection version 3.7" and I have a feeling that I'd give away the ringtones for free, which hurts the owner of that 180+ collection. For that, it's not worth it.

Any suggestions or ideas? Or do any of you have a ringtone that is more business-liked? Being business-liked and professional doesn't mean I have to pay for it.

Just leave it in vibrate mode.

Just leave it in vibrate mode.

That or just use the default ring tones, nobody can fault you for using them.

It's not just for cell phones. Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

I have Skype.

Use the windows XP logon chime :). Or Mac OS X's. It sounds pretty to. The defaults in Skype aren't too bad either.

Has anybody used any business-liked telephones at the workplace?

Again, have fun with your ringtones and thank you for wasting my time.

I'm not here to play games and teasing is not my logic.

Sure, glad I could help! :Thumb

But in all seriousness, I got a question for you. "What's wrong with the default ringtone?" as suggested by Nodspy and Robo.

How about some Beethoven or Mozart then? Classical music and any tones made from it should work right?

Nevermind guys. I'll just make my own business ringtone.

By the way, here's what an office business telephone looks like:

:lmao Seriously?! "The 80's" called, they want their phone systems back.

With all due respect those phone systems are antiquated.

This is what modern day business phones looks like.

And I'm guessing by your prudish standards, the default selectable ringtones on the Cisco IP phone wouldn't meet your definition of "business-like ringtone". But I guess it is important, if one were working somewhere that judged a person by their "office ringtone" and not by their productivity output.

P.s., worst of the default ringtones on the Cisco IP phone.

Record a clip of a business phone ring using your cellphone, then set it as your ringtone if your cell has that feature.
