How do you deal? I'm at my breaking point at work. School districts are difficult to work for...politics, school boards, etc.
Promotions seem miles away while others that don't deserve to be promoted seem to rise up everytime the wind blows.
Pay is piss poor and the hours are long. I keep telling myself this is all for experence but it is getting difficult.
How do you all deal with work stress?
Friday night Shiner Bock is starting to sound really good right now. :Wink
Just hang in there, no matter how stressing it is................it will pay off eventually.....
It could always be worse........
The way the econemy is, be glad you have a job........

Monday mornings at work always stink. People just don't wanna be there after having the weekend off, and are naturally grumpy.
God forbid I walk into my work on a Monday morning with a chipper grin on my face...but I do it anyways, since that's my personality :). I find if I can keep the smile and positive atittude on, and snap off any snide remarks tossed my way to turn my smile off, people will get the idea that I'm not about to become just another zombie.
The unfortunate thing is that people everywhere (work included) will use each other to get ahead (favours, etc.). I've learned that it's not just hard work that gets you noticed, but how well you can play the game of office politics.
I'm not very good at office politics, so I'll just continue to work hard and try to keep my nose clean :).

Well, I get to sit through a boring ass meeting tomorrow afternoon.
This is where they will chat with us about how to do things on a computer that if you don't know already you should not be a tech. Fact is, you prolly should not even own a computer.
Thursday morning I sit down with my boss and discuss how my job looks as far as a promotion/pay increase.
:Sigh

Erm...I don't think they should allow guys to inspect bikinis...fellas would all be making sure the straps and ties (that are supposed to stay safely in place) are purposely defective  !

What ticks me off at school:
Everytime we have a test, we get a huge friggin pile of papers to read thru and know all about. This test looks like a nightmare.
14;00 and the test lays on my desk... I look at it.
loudly i shout out a "What the...! I studied till 01;00 last night for THIS!"
The test is so frigging simple.
Its a friggin multiple choise test, about simple religion.
"A rabbi is a kind of a rabbit"
True/false
and more of that....
And its not the first time.
:Mad
:Mad
Oh, the Q was how do i deal with it?
I shout a little at the teachers for doing this to us!
