"A California lawmaker has proposed slapping a tax on popular soft drinks to help reduce rocketing rates of childhood obesity.

The bill proposed by state Sen. Deborah Ortiz — one of the first in the nation to target sugary sodas as a root cause of kids putting on too many pounds — would offer schools incentives to drop lucrative contracts to sell certain soda brands on their campuses."

That's a load of crap.................

"The problem is that Americans have lost sight of moderation, and fail to recognize how many additional calories soda adds to their diets."

So, according to her, the government should decide what moderation is..............

SICKENING!!!!!!!

Soft Drinks = Bad, Taxes = Good

It will take a lot of convincing leaders (Hitler?)to make us believe that. Or maybe they'll put hypnosis-inducing chemicals in the soft drinks before playing this theme in randomly associated commericials during T.V. shows. Also they might blatantly shout this out during some famous events (football games?), and put those annoying flashing banners on web sites which say 'Soft Drinks = Bad, Taxed = Good' instead of 'If this banner is flashing, you have just won an amazing item. You have just won the right to believe you have won something worth much more. So as you nervously wait impatiently for your prize: nothing, it doesn't exist, they are busy brainwashing everyone else with this theme. See, i told you. They will make you believe stuff. It will get creepier, and you will believe it just might be your neighbors' best friend's pet parrot which is putting those ideas into your head, when in reality, it's the government. When in doubt, blame the government, cause no matter what, the government is behind everything. This is just one possibility. Beware of the future...but who knows? We might have come from some big explosion. It would be the first, last, and only explosion which created something.
