I really don't know how to stomach some of these shows.

"The Bachelor" was just pukey, and now they will be doing another :eek:!

"Survivor" is just burnt out.

And now, someone tells me "American Idol" is rigged!

I don't watch any "Reality T.V." anymore. Survivor - crap, Big Brother started as crap, nothing'z changed, Fear Factor wha? Okay I lied, I watch Dog eat dog on nbc. It's a decent show, but nothing more that Weakest Link + Fear Factor. Weakest Link really was a good show. I liked it, but all that other crap should be burned, and quickly before later generations notice what could have and still could be our stupidity in selecting good T.V. shows

You did hear that CBS is turning "The Beverly Hillbillies" into a reality-tv show?

From TV Guide.com:

"THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The Beverly Hillbillies is making a comeback as a CBS reality series. The network is developing Real Beverly Hillbillies, a half-hour show that follows a rural, lower-middle class family as they are transplanted from their humble abode to a tony Beverly Hills mansion, Variety reports. Casting is expected to get underway soon. "It's a great fish-out-of-water story," says CBS exec Ghen Maynard. "A lot of it will be funny, but a lot of it will be real. We want to find a family that's different from what most people know but still relatable, a family that loves each other a lot." Sounds like another Osbournes clone to us."

meet my parents is hilarious though. i like watching real tv and u gotta see this, all video tapes of stuff gone wrong in life.

I don't think Sharon from The Osbournes is doing too well. A report in the paper mentioned that taping will not start up as early as expected for the next season, and she was rushed to hospital for problems with chemo treatment.

Talk about a reality series :(.


The only problem with not watching some of these programs is that I miss out on the talk during break at work. Everyone else knows whats going on except me. I'm just too busy to watch a lot of telly.

Survivor has turned into a betting frenzy at my work. Everyone has picked their first round of people who they hope will make it through to the next "voting off". Apparently you are allowed to pick two people to begin with. If both of your picks are voted off, you're outta the pool and out $10 bucks. Quite interesting how it's been set up, actually. But I don't wanna waste $10 and have to watch Survivor too, heh.

I'm just not into the pool this year. Last year I put a buck in and guessed a name. I won $20 and never watched the show once, lol.

I couldn't agree with you more on those tv shows the newer
tv shows are just sicking:Nope i like the older tv shows like
the ones that were shown back in the 60's and 70's even the
ones that were made in the 80's when they made great shows
back when they were funny and fun to watch the shows that
are on now are just about violence and the S3x just give me
Happy Days and Lavern & Shirley reruns and I'm happy:Nice
