I passed my MCP in Windows XP Professional!!!!

I'm in taking the core classes for the MCSE in Windows 2000. The WinXP MCP class I took a couple of weeks ago and counts for the first in that series.

There are 7 exams in the MCSE track, but I will end up taking 8. The extra exam will get me my MCSA.

The track goes something like this MCP-->MCSA-->MCSE

Unfortunately, the first class in the core classes was Win2k Pro (I use that o.s. also) does not count for anything in the MCSE certification track (WinXP took its place...you can take either exam) so I will not be taking that exam.

We start server classes tonight.

I'm not sure if this job will use my certs for anything so I'm really thinking that this job I have will be just for experence. I also have my Network+ cert and hopefully, after I get done with my Microsoft certs, will go back and finish my CCNA certification.

A friend of mine is going to help me achieve my Check Point Firewall certification, also. Hopefully, I'll have it all done by May or June.

You'll soon be looking for a way to use those Certs. and put 'em to use making you happy :)!

Start contacting people from different states. My cousin is a tri-lingual MCSE and the pay scales vary soooo much from state to state you need to be picky to make the big bucks.

congratulations! some of those Microsoft certs are a pain, but they can only aid your resume... :D

Thanks. A toddler-sized 3GM shirt arrived the other day. I'll have to get a few snaps of him in it the next time he's helping me.

Congratulations Artcwolf!!! Welcome to the MCP club my friend :) Now you have the privalege of buying MCP shirts at their secured website... LOL

Anyway, doesn't it feel great now that you passed??? Just keep workin on those core exams, they only get harder, and harder :(
