Yep, I get on average about 40 new registrants per day; however like most sites less then 5% are really dedicated posters. The rest just look and search for stuff.

rodney, you should have like some form of contest to get more people actually posting! kind of like a lower end version of your "2000 posts for 3gm merchandise" thing. it just baffles me how many people could post here daily (to the point where a brand new thread is sunk to the bottom of the next page from rapid posts in other ones) but only 10 or 20 people actually do stuff.. :(

I've tried this in the past, however, the fact is people will only post for the prices and not to be a part of the site :Nope I really want folks to post because they want to post, not post just to get prizes. As you mentioned there is a free t-shirt for folks who with over 2000 posts and I feel anyone who posts that much is not really interested in a 3GM t-shirt but rather just be a valued part of 3GM.

Also, I have giveaways almost every month as it is :thumb

you could always have giveaways for tickets to the first official 3dgameman KICKASS LAN competition! im sure countless people would start posting to have a one on one UT2003 frag match against sherry :thumb
