Dremel Blades?
Get the fiberglass re-enforced ones.
The last blades I bought were extra thick and did a good job.
You do have to go though a lot of them, but the dremel leaves a great cut. I bought a disk sander attachement for my drill for polishing the longer cuts.
I've had my nighmares with jig-saws.

It's nice to see a case modder who rips and strips the case.
Too many pre-modded cases. I own one and ot's great, but I would rather mod the hell out of a case.

5 of those blades are the fiber glass blades. I ran out so I had to use the cheap ones.

I'm short some primer so the frame of the case is going to have to wait till thursday to get finished but the rest I'm coating again tonight and tomorow.

What are you working on?
Perhaps a manual method may work.

A jig-saw with a 28tpi blade should work ok.
Your workpeice seems wel supported.

Sometime, I'll take a hack saw apart and insert it into the cut, the re-assemble it.

What I did was go to a panelbeater and ask for his old angle grinder discs. They are extremely hard and chew through aluminium like butter, yet dont break or grind down at all even after cutting nearly a whole case.

Everything chews though aluminum like butter.
It's steel cases that are the tough ones.
28tpi is a very fine blade. Any courser and it will take you for a ride. yep that is teeth per inch.

I like the colors you are using too.
I like 'gun-metal" colors.

Oops I meant to say Steel and just looking at this pic he's gone through quiet a few blades which would have cost money. Using the old angle grinder disk is cost me nothing.

Well there was like 60 that came with the dremel acc. kit, so I didn't mind burning through those blades. Heres some more pics; I have to put the mod on hold till thursday. I ran out of nuts/bolts/washers so I have to go pick some up then.

When I get to fan installing thats gunna be a wierd one through that screening =P. I'll figure something out. I'm still debating on fan/interior color, any ideas ?

Some pictures to hold you off....

Front screen

Until thursday....

Hmm..a blue and black case. Well first off are you gonna pain the drives to match? Also please clean that cpu fan its making me weep cause its so dirty.

As for the interior, i'm thinking go all UV, cables, etc. Idk about any other colors.

i know its probobly the paint color effect, but the chassis paintjob looks kind of blotchy in a few pics.

Of course I'll paint the drives and clean the wires / fans before I take some final pics. These are just progress pics :p. Otherwise I'm not much for UV colors, not apealing to me.

Yeah it's the camera I assume. It's probably that and the sparkly paint. It changes at different angles.
