For HD playback on a HTPC, I think it will be great. The x1 interface won't hinder the performance.
thats what i was thinking, i am wondering why they would even make such a card? Maybe to upgrade older pc in other countries?
Ill stick with my current one when i build the htpc. My current rig is gonna go AMD Vision BLACK....as soon as my wallet can get some green.

I think the 1x would limit the card.

i have the galaxy gt240 in my current rig.
If i were to build a new system for my HTPC, would having the 1x pcb work as well as the x16 card i currently have?
I was corrected earlier, these might actually be nice cards for HTPC. Could use a secondary display for touch screens.
