"A new study from the insurance industry finds texting while driving laws have had no immediate benefit in reducing crashes. The study done by a branch of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety looked at crash data from four states with texting bans. I'm not surprised. It is one thing to raise a bunch of laws. It is a whole different kettle of fish to actually enforce them.
All these laws accomplished was to increase the accidents as drivers try to be sneakier with their texting.
There are too many laws. You can't force people to have common sense, otherwise we would all be in jail by now, but maybe that's the whole point?
then get rid of the law and let people text while driving, drink, see a movie and go 300mph xD
