"The Large Hadron Collider has successfully created a "mini-Big Bang" by smashing together lead ions instead of protons. I remember reading that they couldn't run this during Winter as France requires all the electrical energy they can generate to heat homes. I thought that November time would be on borderline winter?

Maybe that's why they were restricted to only a "mini big-bang.." perhaps the world only gets sucked into a black hole next Summer.

Their letting us have one more Christmas!
