Tech companies often send swag to journalists as part of their promotional efforts. Apparently AMD has been sending out some special items for Valentine's Day that poke at Intel's troubles with Sandy Bridge. We didn't receive any of these items from AMD, but Cnet did and thankfully they blogged about them. AMD sent an "I (heart) APU" ceramic mug that read:
Dear Dan,
I heard that Sandy B. broke your heart and wanted to let you know that I'm here for you. Oh, and I have a cousin from Llano, Texas I'd like to introduce you to soon--I think you two will really hit it off!
XOXO,
AMD Fusion APU
AMD also sent a box of chocolates. They weren't exactly shaped like processors, which would have been cool, but it's still nice to get gifts for Valentine's Day.

they should have made a big chocolate one whit bulldozer : zambabi(or so) 8 core and so or just a large lucky cookie whit a working 16 core bulldozer in it
lol no they had 6 sata port and only 2 of them where sata 3 and they had no problem but a standard user uses like 2 of them so hdd + dvd player but some have 2 hdd others have esate (same as sate 2 ) os they failed ,2 ports were just not enough for laptops so they had some trobble and really i find it suspicios that they have a new southbridge so fast maybe they sold the bad ones while they had the good ones in development so they could launch there sb part earlier and not 2 months later
the only thing wrong is sb was the sata2 ports, most sb mobos had 4 sata3 anyway and everything else about it demolishes amd so..
LOL MEAN!!!!
AMD /2\_/132!!! :D
Hey Rod! Add back the :KICK ASS: emoticon, will ya!? :D Being in an old forum before the takedown makes me a geek! :)
