"There used to be nothing better than going to the store, buying a brand new game, and putting it in your system of choice to sit down for a nice day of gaming. This should be a grand moment: you just bought a game you're excited about playing, and the publisher has your money. These days, however, it has become a wonderful opportunity to punish you instead. damn true
Forgot about the Loading time and installing a game to the HDD
The Exclusive titles and DLCs...you buy it on PS3 and you're screwed cause there's a DLC on 360 but not PS3...then there's the multiple versions of a game...

I have a gaming PC and all gaming consoles and it definately doens't get you laid!

In my opinion, this is a bit of an overreaction to all of the things that you have to do to install and play a game. Since when do you not have to install a game to play it? Entering game key codes has been around for many years, and many of us have come to expect that. That really isn't a pain in the behind. An unskippable trailer is only around 15-30 seconds. That's nothing out of your time, and is just pure impatience. Making a new account just to play something such as multiplayer is fairly annoying, but it's only a couple of minutes, if that. This all comes down to a person's impatience. Patience is a skill that some people should really learn.

Excellent rant and very true, many of us have lost the interest to play games anymore because of the factors mentioned in this article.
