"It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum.” Is only one of many great iconic lines that put the Duke Nukem games into our list of cult classics. Ever since Duke Nukem Forever was first announced by 3D Realms back in 1997 our anticipation of another boundless action packed video game has been high. Sadly this game has been riddled with an exceedingly great many delays, therefore after 13 years, was it worth the wait? With a Metascore of 57 out of 100, I think Duke said it best, "Oooooooh, that’s gotta hurt!"
I was going to have my daughter get me this for father's day, but after seeing the trailers I told her to just buy me a nice brunch instead.
After 14 years of on-again/off-again I expected this game to be a log more ... Instead what we get is the same juvenile dialog with modernized (somewhat - I've seen way better) graphics.
Seriously. The dialog may have been cool 16-20 years ago, but frankly in this day & age it is just plain lame.
